Last updated: March 2026

01What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and improve your experience.

02Essential Cookies

Required for the Platform to function. Cannot be disabled.

  • Session cookies — keep you logged in
  • Security cookies — protect against CSRF attacks
  • Clerk authentication cookies — manage your login session

03Functional Cookies

Remember your preferences and settings.

  • Language preferences
  • Course progress tracking
  • Dashboard preferences

04Third Party Cookies

Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies:

  • Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention
  • Clerk — authentication and session management
  • Mux — video player functionality

05Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent the Platform from functioning correctly. Most browsers allow you to view, delete and block cookies through their settings menu.

06Important Note

Essential cookies (authentication via Clerk) are set immediately as they are required for the platform to function. Payment cookies (Stripe) are only set when you visit our pricing or checkout pages as part of an active payment process. These are considered legitimate interest cookies under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) as they are necessary to complete a transaction you have initiated. We do not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.

07Cookie Retention

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period. Authentication cookies typically last 30 days or until you sign out.
